The Album Drop

King Of My iPod

King Of The Beach is the second album from Wavves. This record reaches many different points. Fast. Slow. Kinda happy. Kinda sad. There are songs that sound like the kind of Thrash I remember from seeing them at North By Northeast earlier this year. But there are a couple of synth driven tunes towards the bottom of the playlist that really put a nice cap on the entire package. I had a chance to speak to Billy Hayes & Stephen Pope from Wavves, and managed to work it into a segment on The Scene, my show on CKDJ 107.9FM in Ottawa (and online at with a tune from the Album. Enjoy!
