So, following the backlash of the Grammys giving an award to convicted assult-er Chris Brown, the internet was lit-up yet again, when his ex-
victim girlfriend Rihanna released a remix of one of her songs featuring Mr. Brown, and he did the same with one of his, and her vocals. Here’s an article that sheds some light onto why she’d ever do a song with him (and it’s not about the money).

Metric have announced a new record. ‘Synthetica’ will be released June 12 (in North America, ask your stores for international release dates), once again self-released by the band and distributed across the world in a manor that should make it easy to find in your local record store. Muse has Tweeted (@MUSE) some grainy cell-phone photos from their current recording session in L.A. The record is to have a large orchestral component, including brass and string sections. It’s set for release in the Fall.

Gorillaz have posted a new track, featuring Andre 3000 (Outcast) & James Murphy (Formerly of LCD Soundsystem) called DoYaThing.
